Networks & Offers
Here you will find information on some of the best Networks and Offers around at the moment.
With many different Networks currently operating, all of them offering roughly the same gifts, we have chosen to focus on 2 of the best Networks (Freebiejeebies and Real Incentives), based on factors such as customer service, referral rates, international operation and the competitions they hold. You can read about all of these in more detail below.
Also, with over 30 offers available to complete, we have taken a handful of the most varied and frequently chosen ones to look at in depth, covering value for money, crediting times and popularity.
The Networks
Each Network contains multiple different 'Sites' offering different types of gifts, you can sign up and keep an account on each separate site if you want to, and recieve referrals on them to work towards your free gifts. You can find a complete list of the different sites here on the 'Gifts' page.
Before we move on to discussing the individual networks it's worth mentioning that there are a few important terms & conditions of the networks to be aware of, which you can find covered in depth in the do's and don'ts table further down.
Freebiejeebies are currently one of the most popular networks around. Due to their frequent prize draw competitions on the Exceem forums and reputation for fast and excellent customer service, they were voted "Network of the Year 2008" by Exceem members and are already on track to take that award this year as well - they've recently announced their biggest competition to date, with prizes of either a car or £5000 cash up for grabs. They also recently became the first network to operate outside of the UK, USA or Canada adding 43 countries internationally, you can find the full list of countries available in our 'FAQ' section. Most of the links here on FreeGiftLinks.co.uk are directed towards Freebiejeebies sites.
Real Incentives are also a highly regarded network, hosting regular competitions in a prize draw format. Gaining entry to the draws usually involves getting 2 completed referrals within a certain time period, and competitions are held every few months. Prizes usually include games consoles, HDTVs or iPods and for Christmas 2008 they put up a special 'Entertainment Package' consisting of an HDTV, Xbox 360 Elite with games, and ipods for runners up! You will find some of the links on this site directed towards Real Incentives, usually at the times they're hosting competitions.
The Offers
Once you've registered with one of the networks the next stage is to complete an 'Offer', these are essentially sponsored adverts from many different companies that have set requirements to fulfill before their status becomes 'completed'. You only need to complete one offer on each site you register with to recieve gifts from it, and you can recieve as many gifts from that site as you like (remember that to complete an offer with a company you can't already be a customer of theirs, as the network only get their bonus for new customers).
Simply click on the offer you want to complete (which takes you to the offer company's site) and then register with the company and fulfill the individual requirements of that offer. The cost of offers range from completely free through to £5 or £10 and above, but you only need to complete 1 so choose a free one! If you're planning on signing up to multiple sites remember that you need to complete a different offer for each site you register with.
The wide range of offers prove attractive to a lot of people and because they're constantly being added to and improved upon you can be confident there will be an offer that you and your referrals will be happy to complete. Due to the huge choice of offers available we've selected 8 of the most common and varied to look at in more depth, analysing factors such as cost, completion time and popularity. These specific offers are unique to the UK but the kinds of offers shown here are comparable to the ones you'll find in the US and other International regions:
"Sign up to the 2 week free trial and rent at least 1 DVD."
Lovefilm is currently the most popular offer due to it being a free trial. It credits within 4 days but, remember that you must rent and return at least 1 DVD before it will show as complete.
"Register, deposit £5 or more, and wager through the entire amount."
Coral is a hugely popular offer as it's very cheap and normally credits within 5 minutes! A great alternative if you're unable to complete one of the free offers. Includes a £10 bonus as well.
"Open a current account advance with HSBC."
The HSBC Account is free to apply for, but needs £500 paid in monthly to keep it open. If you're looking for a new bank account anyway why not choose this one as your offer completion too?
"Order, recieve and keep the 3 books. (£4.99 + free postage)."
Books Direct is also popular but comes with a catch - You must remember to cancel the monthly 'Editors Choice' books or your account will be charged for them. Credits in 7-10 days.
As you can see from the list above, the types of offers available range from Free Trials and Betting / Gaming companies, through to Household and Financial services. Some are quick, easy and cheap with no added obligation (perfect for someone just looking to quickly complete an offer and start getting freebies), and others requiring long term subscription are great for people looking to become customers of those companies anyway and so saving them the trouble.
The offers discussed above make up only a fraction of the total range on offer, and some types of offers not covered include mobile phone contracts, credit card applications, online dating services and car, pet and home insurance. Remember that to complete the gambling offers you must either be over 18 years of age or adhere to your own country's laws on these matters if they are different. A more general list of Do's and Don'ts can be found below, which we advise you to read before you sign up with any Free Gift Network.
Do's And Don'ts
Do
- DO sign up to the Exceem forums, as well as being a great resource for information on the Free Gift Scene, there are regular competitions and opportunities hosted by the networks only available to Exceem members.
- DO post your referral link on other forums and blogs, in your e-mail signature, on social networking sites and any other websites you might own or be a part of, BUT try to put your link within relevant posts on these sites as spamming is against the Networks' T's and C's and could result in you being placed on hold if complaints are brought against you.
- DO make sure you and your refferals use the same e-mail and house addresses when registering with the network as with the offer company, this prevents fraud and will make sure your offer is credited correctly to your account.
- DO remember that if doing the Lovefilm offer you need to rent and return at least 1 DVD before your offer credits as completed, this is the most overlooked part of many offer completions.
- DO read the terms and conditions of the network you're signing up with, to make sure you fully understand how they work.
Don't
- DON'T post your referral link anywhere on Exceem, this is against the rules and ensures that it remains a forum for discussion about the Free Gift Scene, and not full of everybody's referral links!
- DON'T let your referrals sign up from the same IP address as you (using the same internet account / modem to connect). This will be treated as fraud, as it could be seen to be 1 person giving themselves referrals under fake names, and both accounts will be placed on hold. Be particularly careful of communal internet such as internet cafes, university librarys or shared accomdation where the internet is also shared.
- DON'T refer anyone using the same house address as you, for the same reasons as above. This commonly occurs with family members or at universities with shared accomodation. All referrals in this case should use their home address.
- DON'T post fake adverts on Ebay, Gumtree or similar auction sites advertising free items but instead linking to your website / referral link. This is a well known practice among auction sites and is strictly against the Networks's T's and C's, it's very likely that complaints will be made to the Networks and you will be placed on hold if you do this.
